  • Obituary: MacKENZIE, Neil Jr. - Division Road, Pictou County, died suddenly Monday, August 5, 2002, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born July 18, 1923, in Trenton, he was a son of the late Neil and Lena Grace MacKenzie. He was a member of the R.C.A.F. as an Air Navigator and Bombardier during the Second World War. A bricklayer by trade, Neil was also employed by Canada Post in Pictou for 37 years. He is survived by sister, Priscilla Lann and family, Green Hill; brother, Douglas (Hilda) MacKenzie and family, Pictou; sister, Priscilla MacKenzie and family, Pictou. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, John in infancy. Cremation has taken place at the family's request. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. A very special thank-you to the nurses and physicians of Dartmouth General Hospital.
