Her end was peace. Sister Ward professed faith in her Redeemer in the sixteenth year of her age and was baptized into the fellowship of the Nictaux Baptist church, by the Rev. I.E. Bill, D.D., under whose powerful ministry she received her early religious training. Her remains were interred in Greenwood cemetery, and an appropriate discourse preached in Harmony, Dec. 29, by her pastor, E.H. Howe; text, Rom. 13: 12.
